Antarctica Ski Day #3

60cms of Rodeo Powder!

In all the years we’ve been coming down here, we’d never had a bluebird, bottomless powder day in Antarctica before and it was savored.

These wild powder hummocks were hilariously fun and a good challenge.

Across the water at Port Lockroy our colleagues skied pure, unadulterated, baby-bottom smooth powder.

We got in as much vertical as possible, skipped lunch, and got back on the boat for the 3pm sailing down to the vertically walled Lemaire Channel.

Yesterday was another action-packed day with Penguins, powder, seals, and iceberg-strewn waters.

Ski Day #271. Day #21 of our 3,600-mile Patagonia to Antarctica Safari.

Thanks, Antarctica!
