As Giant Snowstorm Dumps on New Zealand and Buries Several Ski Areas, Coronet Peak Announces Early Opening

Winter isnโ€™t quite over yet in the Sierra. Since this springtime storm rolled through around 5 am on Monday morning, the upper mountain has seen 9 inches of snowfall.
